The Sr. Infrastructure Manager leads the North American infrastructure and DevOps function, ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure technology environments that power our digital solutions. This role oversees all aspects of cloud environments, DevOps practices, media player operating systems, and alerting and monitoring solutions for North American customers. The manager ensures alignment with the North American technology roadmap and is accountable to operational performance, service continuity, and hosting cost management. This role will grow and foster culture of proactive technical leadership, helping to implement best practices that can unlock efficiencies across the engineering and support organizations.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, and systems operations; 3+ years in a leadership capacity.​
  • Deep expertise in AWS environments, including cloud architecture, networking, IAM, and cost management.​
  • Strong background in Linux system administration, scripting (Bash, Python), and automation frameworks.​
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).​
  • Proven implementation of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, or similar) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc).​
  • Hands-on experience managing monitoring and alerting tools such as Sumo Logic, Grafana, or Prometheus.​
  • Experience with cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks.​
  • Knowledge of global infrastructure operations across distributed regions.​

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to ITIL service management practices.​
  • Familiarity with media device management or digital signage systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Leadership – Lead the North American infrastructure and DevOps teams, setting vision, priorities, and performance goals in alignment with global engineering strategy.​
  • Cloud Operations – Oversee AWS cloud environments, ensuring availability, cost optimization, and adherence security/architectural best practices.​
  • DevOps & Automation – Drive CI/CD pipeline maturity and infrastructure-as-code, enabling repeatable, reliable, and secure deployments.​
  • Media Player OS Management – Oversee the lifecycle, security, and updates of Coates’ media player OS across customer fleets.​
  • Monitoring & Observability – Implement and continuously refine alerting, logging, and monitoring frameworks to maintain high uptime and service performance.​
  • Governance & Compliance – Establish and maintain standards for change control, security, and documentation across environments.​
  • Collaboration with Product & Delivery – Partner closely with Product Management and Delivery teams to ensure infrastructure supports roadmap goals and SLAs for NAM customers.​
  • Continuous Improvement – Champion an automation-first mindset, reducing technical debt and improving the speed and quality of deployments.​
  • Mentorship & Development – Build capability within the team through coaching, skill development, and fostering a culture of curiosity and ownership.
