About The Position

Wheeler Fleet Solutions is a premier provider of automotive parts supply chain services, supporting commercial and government fleets as well as customers nationwide. We are modernizing our technology ecosystem by migrating our proprietary ERP platform to INFOR M3 CloudSuite and implementing the Infor WMS solution, while strengthening EDI integrations with key partners. These initiatives are central to delivering a highly automated, secure, and cost-effective environment that supports our customer-first culture. The Senior Manager, Information Systems reports to the Chief Information Officer and leads a distributed team of INFOR technical professionals. This role is responsible for application strategy, governance, stakeholder engagement, technical oversight, operational excellence, and ensuring reliable operations of the current ERP AS400 data platform. The Senior Manager will oversee the INFOR migration program and partner with business leaders and the executive team to deliver a highly automated, low-risk, and cost-effective ERP environment. This position requires a visionary leader with strong technical acumen, proven experience in ERP transformations, and the ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in software/IT with at least 3 years leading distributed engineering teams.
  • Proven experience with enterprise application delivery and ERP migrations (INFOR CloudSuite, LN, or M3 & WMS preferred).
  • Strong project management skills with exposure to Agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage remote talent, vendor partners, and executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and change‑management skills.
  • Experience in technical solution design for performance, security, scalability, and availability.
  • Understanding of all technical components of a commerce-oriented web-based solution
  • Proven record of success with problem solving, demonstrated by an ability to debug and troubleshoot complex software orchestrations and identify solution options and alternatives
  • Good understanding of Agile SDLC methodology best practices
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and flexibility

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in automotive, supply‑chain, or manufacturing industries.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft development, AS400/iSeries databases and Amazon Vendor Central workflows.
  • Certifications such as INFOR Certified Professional, PMP, or Azure/AWS Architect.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Develop Talent– Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing remote team; set objectives, conduct reviews, and drive professional growth.
  • ERP Modernization – Manage the INFOR migration roadmap and establish a center of excellence for ERP modernization.
  • Application Governance– Oversee application architecture, SDLC standards, security compliance, and DevOps practices.
  • EDI & Integration Leadership– Maintain and enhance EDI integrations with Amazon and other partners; manage third-party vendor relationships.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management– Translate business priorities into project charters, timelines, and budgets; provide transparent status reporting and risk mitigation to executive leadership.
  • Infrastructure Collaboration– Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure system availability, disaster recovery, and compliance objectives are met.
  • Compliance & Audits– Coordinate audit preparedness and ensure development controls meet corporate and regulatory standards.
