About The Position

As Sr. Manager of OEM Program Management, you will be responsible for the end to end execution of all OEM related programs at IONNA. This role ensures that OEM partnerships translate into delivered, production ready capabilities across vehicle integrations, software platforms, charging standards, customer experience touchpoints, and go to market readiness. Reporting to the Chief Technology & Product Officer, this role operates at the intersection of OEM product teams, IONNA product and engineering teams, design/UX, quality, and operations, serving as the execution backbone for all OEM commitments. This is a cross functional leadership role, but its scope is explicitly focused on OEM related workstreams including in-car integrations, Plug & Charge enablement, routing and discovery integrations, OEM specific experience requirements, and joint launch milestones.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, technical program leadership, or OEM facing delivery roles.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with automakers or Tier1 automotive partners.
  • Strong technical fluency across software platforms, system integrations, and vehicle adjacent technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multistakeholder programs with high visibility and executive accountability.
  • Comfortably operating in ambiguity, aligning diverse teams, and driving execution against fixed external commitments.
  • Passionate about delivering seamless, driver first experiences through strong OEM collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • OEM Program Leadership & Execution
  • Own the end to end delivery of OEM programs, from feature scope through production launch and postlaunch stabilization.
  • Drive execution of OEM specific product and technology roadmaps, including vehicle integrations, backend enablement, standards compliance, and customer experience alignment.
  • Establish and maintain program plans, milestones, dependencies, and risk registers for each OEM engagement.
  • Ensure a strong say/do ratio by translating OEM commitments into executable, tracked delivery plans.
  • OEM Integration & Feature Delivery
  • Lead cross functional delivery of OEM facing capabilities such as:
  • Plug & Charge / AutoCharge enablement
  • In vehicle discovery, routing, and search integrations
  • Charging session initiation, authentication, and data exchange
  • OEM specific UX, branding, and experience requirements
  • OEM discounts, loyalty, and next gen features like integrated retail, ads, reservations, and more.
  • Coordinate closely with Product, Software, Hardware, and Brand/UX teams to ensure OEM requirements are clearly defined, technically feasible, and validated before launch.
  • Cross Functional Coordination
  • Serve as the primary execution interface for product/tech between OEM teams and internal IONNA stakeholders.
  • Drive alignment across:
  • Product Management (requirements and outcomes)
  • Software & Platform Engineering (implementation)
  • Hardware & Charging Technology (standards and compatibility)
  • Brand, Design & UX (OEM experience alignment)
  • Quality & Testing (readiness and validation)
  • Operations (launch and support readiness)
  • Marketing & Communications
  • Resolve cross team dependencies and escalate risks early to maintain delivery momentum.
  • OEM Governance, Reporting & Risk Management
  • Establish program governance structures tailored to OEM engagements, including executive reviews, milestone reporting, and issue escalation paths.
  • Provide clear, consistent reporting on:
  • delivery status
  • risks and mitigations
  • OEM readiness and launch confidence
  • Ongoing performance and KPIs
  • Anticipate integration, certification, or operational challenges and proactively drive resolution.
  • Launch Readiness & OEM GoToMarket Support
  • Own delivery and continuous KPI performance of OEM features, enhancements, and programs. Ensuring, driving, and practicing extreme ownership in meeting defined launch readiness criteria, including technical validation, experience alignment, and operational preparedness.
  • Accountable and responsible for ensuring internal teams support joint OEM launches, pilots, and phased rollouts.
  • Drive, coordinate, and deliver timely postlaunch follow ups to ensure stability, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive OEMs to share early visibility and co-managing of vehicle, vehicle-feature roadmaps, and IONNA related programs. Ensuring early cross-functional visibility within IONNA and driving the co-launch of new-vehicle tailored IONNA products, programs, and offers.
