McKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Growth Marketing located in or near Richmond, VA. This role is responsible for building and optimizing life-cycle marketing campaigns aligned to business priorities. Focused on customer brand awareness, acquisition and growth, including strategy development and optimization across channels. Brings a data driven approach and enables both strategic and tactical thinking with a desire to test and learn to drive continual improvement. This role will report directly to the Director of Growth Marketing and will collaborate across various marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • 8+ years in marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving marketing campaign performance preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of B2B Marketing experience.
  • Previous experience managing agencies.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams (brand, marketing, product) to align initiatives and support business growth.
  • Exceptional written and oral communications with a demonstrated ability to develop clear, concise, and compelling messaging.
  • Excels in dynamic environments with competing priorities.
  • Data driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing tools & platforms including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Ads, Social Media, Google Analytics, and other performance-based channels.
  • Proven track record of success in driving ROI across paid search, display, email, social and other performance-based channels.
  • Expertise in customer lifecycle management, including acquisition, onboarding, engagement and retention strategies.
  • Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive growth marketing strategies aligned with McKesson's business objectives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Advance channel standardization and innovation, developing channel best practices and governance to maximize the effectiveness of channels.
  • Develop Campaign Journey Maps.
  • Drive the development and oversight of customer acquisition, retention & penetration strategies.
  • Design and oversee the execution of comprehensive multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned to strategic priorities providing key KPIs and budget recommendations.
  • Collaborate across marketing teams to develop annual content strategy and editorial calendar including distribution strategy.
  • Regularly interface with Marketing Business Partners, Product Marketing, Sales Enablement and Demand Generation teams to ensure alignment on planned marketing activities, provide guidance, and collect feedback.
  • Manage agency partnerships & relationships and development of annual media plan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage personalization, modular content, and DAAA models to inform marketing strategy.
  • Share regular reporting and insights with stakeholders and marketing leaders, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization to drive continuous improvement.
  • In partnership with Performance Analytics, monitor campaign performance to make strategic optimizations to maximize ROI and achieve campaign objectives.
  • Conduct regular audits of owned channels to assess performance, identify areas for improvement and innovation, and ensure alignment with partners and marketing leadership.
  • In partnership with Digital Strategy Team identify and test new channels to reach our target audience.
