About The Position

The Sr. Manager - Go to Market & Seller Engagement Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing marketing and engagement strategies that transform the end-to-end seller journey on Best Buy's Marketplace. This is a high-impact position for a bold, hands-on product marketer who thrives on building meaningful connections with sellers of all sizes-from small businesses to major tech brands-and is passionate about driving growth and innovation. In this role, you will lead efforts to strengthen the Marketplace brand within the seller community, develop lifecycle communication strategies that foster engagement and retention, and drive awareness and adoption of new features and capabilities. You will also oversee the evolution of our seller content and community hub, ensuring it becomes a trusted resource for education and collaboration. Success in this role demands creative leadership, sharp product marketing instincts, and the ability to align strategic vision with seamless execution. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. Requirements

  • 6 or more years of experience in product marketing, e-commerce, go-to-market strategy, business operations, or a related field
  • 4 or more years of experience in developing marketing strategies within a B2B e-commerce or marketplace environment
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • 3 or more years of experience with e-commerce platforms, with prior Marketplace experience strongly preferred
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across teams to drive positive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Build holistic, scalable go-to-market plans that drive targeted adoption of new tools and products across seller cohorts.
  • Collaborate across the Marketplace organization to ensure the success of key initiatives such as Best Buy Ads, shipping grid optimizations, promotions, events, and other strategic programs.
  • Convert new capabilities, programs, and policies into clear positioning statements, compelling feature/benefit narratives, and enablement materials for the Seller Management team.
  • Develop and own the overall Marketplace brand narrative and communications plan. Partner closely with Corporate Communications to define messaging pillars and channel strategies that drive seller acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Collaborate with Store Operations to develop activation strategies for Store Associates (Blue Shirts), ensuring Marketplace becomes a core selling tool in the field
  • Own the development and execution of seller marketing plans, including messaging, audience segmentation, channel mix, and contact strategy, ensuring a consistent narrative across the seller journey.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive content strategy for seller help resources, FAQs, and self-service tools to enhance usability and support.
  • Define and track KPIs for content effectiveness (e.g., usage, pipeline influence, engagement, conversion). Analyze insights and recommend optimizations to improve performance.
  • Build and manage our business development sales narrative - claims, one-pagers, pitch decks, case studies, and playbooks.
  • Drive our approach to event and trade show marketing, partnering closely with Seller Acquisition and Best Buy Ads to showcase our holistic eCommerce value proposition.
  • Manage the end-to-end process for Marketplace promotional campaigns and events, collaborating with Category and Seller Success teams to coordinate content and offers, ensuring sellers achieve key milestones.
