Job Overview We are seeking an experienced facilities leader to oversee multi-site operations across the Central Region, including large regional business offices and call center environments. This role leads a large team accountable for delivering consistent, compliant, and high-performing facility operations that support business continuity and operational efficiency. In this role, you will integrate facility operations, lease administration, compliance controls, and vendor management to ensure seamless service delivery across the portfolio. This role partners closely with internal partners and external providers to drive operational excellence, mitigate risk, and optimize workplace performance. This is a role that requires to be on-site 5 days/week. Our preferred base location is Overland Park, KS, but may also consider Downers Grove, IL.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in facilities management, ideally campus or large corporate settings.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-site operations and managing teams
  • Proven ability to lead complex, high-visibility projects
  • Strong leadership and organizational management skills
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting and expense management
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence partners at all levels
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) or similar industry certification
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to a regional facilities team, including coaching, performance management, and talent development.
  • Oversee facility operations and workplace services (including soft services) across multiple sites, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient environments.
  • Lead lease administration activities, including interpretation of lease terms, payment accuracy, reconciliations, and documentation management
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls (including SOX and ICS).
  • Manage third-party vendors and outsourced service providers to ensure service level expectations and contractual obligations are met.
  • Direct occupancy planning and space management strategies to align with evolving business needs.
  • Lead business continuity planning and execution to support operational resilience.
  • Partner with Environmental Health & Safety to ensure adherence to safety standards and programs.
  • Oversee regional budgets, including expense management, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Lead complex, high-impact projects, including site improvements, expansions, and process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Real Estate, Finance, Procurement, IT, and other cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and execution of facility-related initiatives.
