The F135 Sustainment Affordability group is seeking an energetic, digital-savvy, execution-oriented, and financially insightful analytics manager to join our team. This person will play a key role in the Sustainment Affordability team’s mission to understand the costs of F135 ownership, create cost forecasts and targets for the sustainment program, develop an execution plan to implement affordability strategies, and measure cost reduction progress. This individual will serve as the Sustainment Leader responsible for the F135 engine cost of ownership and sustainment program business forecast. In this role, you will work across the engine program to define, manage, and execute the development of business models reflecting current sustainment costs and cost impacts of proposed sustainment cost reduction ideas. You will identify, examine, and evaluate sustainment cost data sources to establish modeling approaches that accurately represent engine life cycle costs. The Manager will also work with the business stakeholders and digital organizations to understand business requirements, deliver modeling solutions, reports, and dashboards that provide value to the business. This role requires familiarity with Power BI to create robust reports and dashboards, as well as collaborating closely with customers, specifically the JPO Cost Team, to ensure alignment with program needs and objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of cross functional teaming experience, to include external customer support and problem-solving skills OR, An Advanced degree and 7 years of cross functional teaming experience to include external customer support and problem-solving skills
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Pratt & Whitney engine products and MRO Aftermarket operations preferred
  • A fundamental understanding of gas turbine engines, airline operations and engine maintenance practices
  • Understanding of F135 operations & support
  • Strong communication, influencing, presentation and data management/analysis skills
  • Proven leadership skills coupled with a history of attaining results through influence and collaboration
  • Prior experience with Digital Tools (e.g., PowerBI)
  • Prior experience with government cost structure and budgeting cycle

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead the F135 annual sustainment cost forecast, partnering across Program Sustainment, Strategy, Finance, Engineering, and other internal and external groups to develop a detailed projection for the F135 engine sustainment program.
  • Mature the F135 approach to comprehensive data collection and analysis to support robust sustainment cost modeling and understanding of sustainment cost drivers.
  • Benchmark, capture stakeholder feedback, and organize data to develop robust user interfaces (reports, dashboards, etc.) to provide cost insights that support the program's strategic and management objectives.
  • Gather and disseminate F135 and legacy program cost data.
  • Evaluate and analyze data to determine trends and develop cost modeling algorithms.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize sustainment cost insights effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with the JPO Cost Team to understand customer requirements and ensure deliverables meet their needs.
