Primary Purpose The senior manager, editorial serves as editor-in-chief of The Grid, Exelon’s content hub, and provides editorial direction and support across Exelon’s communications organization. Support Director of Employee Communications and Executive Thought Leadership in advising and counseling executive leaders within Exelon with respect to communications issues, strategies and tactics. Oversee staff of communicators in execution and management of editorial and employee communications. Manage assigned communications projects and monitor enterprise-wide issues. Assist Director of Employee Communications and Executive Thought Leadership to ensure that communications plans and processes reinforce employee understanding of and compliance with company policies. Assign and manage communications resources as required in support of the Director of Employee Communications and Executive Thought Leadership. Represent and back up the Director of Employee Communications and Executive Thought Leadership in their absence. Additional duties include reviewing employee performance; assigning, critiquing and editing communication materials; coaching and feedback; motivating and setting direction; providing oversight; and integrating communications at the site.
