About The Position

The Senior Manager, Digital Business & Partnerships shapes and executes the business strategy that supports HRS’s digital content ecosystem. This role focuses on commercializing professional education and scientific content through strategic partnerships, subscription models, and value-driven product design that serve the evolving needs of electrophysiology professionals. This is not a SaaS sales role. Success in this position is measured by the ability to align content strategy, professional learning needs, and sustainable revenue models while preserving the trust, credibility, and mission of the Society. This role is not centered on transactional software sales, quota-driven selling, or promoting technology platforms; instead, it focuses on stewarding professional content as a core value offering that supports learning, credibility, and long-term growth for the EP community.

Requirements

  • Seven or more in digital business development, product management, or revenue strategy roles.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and scaling subscriptions or digital content revenue models.
  • Strong skills in financial modeling, digital analytics, and vendor negotiation.
  • LMS (Oasis LMS or similar solution), ScholarOne (or similar abstract management system), MS Office, Salesforce / Fonteva, Asana (or similar project management tools).
  • Business Acumen & Strategy: Deep understanding of digital subscription and content monetization models, with the ability to translate strategy into measurable business outcomes.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in financial modeling, digital analytics, and interpreting complex data to inform decision-making and optimize performance.
  • Relationship Management: Skilled in building and managing partnerships with vendors, distributors, and external stakeholders; able to negotiate contracts and maintain long-term collaborations.
  • Innovation & Problem Solving: Ability to identify emerging opportunities, evaluate new channels, and apply creative approaches to grow digital revenue.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to align internal teams (e.g., Membership, Finance, MarComm) and gain support from leadership and volunteer stakeholders.
  • Project Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently, prioritize effectively, and deliver on deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Member/Customer Focus: Commitment to ensuring digital offerings enhance the overall member experience and align with HRS’s mission.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and evolving digital platforms; able to pivot strategies as market conditions change.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred

  • Experience working with professional societies or medical education a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the business strategy for HRS digital content products, including subscription offerings and bundled access models.
  • Identify content gaps across the EP professional journey and cultivate strategic partnerships to fill those gaps through high-quality, mission-aligned content.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager, Content Strategy & Experience to ensure content strategy and business strategy are tightly aligned.
  • Structure and manage partnership agreements, pricing models, and content commercialization approaches that balance member value with revenue goals.
  • Support product launches and lifecycle management for digital content offerings, including annual meeting content, HRX, and long-form educational products.
  • Analyze product performance, subscription trends, and partner outcomes to inform continuous improvement and growth strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally with Education, Marketing & Communications, Membership, Finance, and volunteer education leaders to ensure alignment and impact.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners to support scalable and sustainable digital product growth
