About The Position

As the Sr. Manager - Digital Analytics you will be a key member of Best Buy’s Digital Intelligence and Optimization team, with a focus on supporting Best Buy’s efforts in the eCommerce category, marketing, and digital product teams. This person will play a key role combining business acumen with an analytical mindset to provide insightful and actionable business intelligence based on online user behavior. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in digital analytics or related area
  • 3+ years of experience with digital analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, ContentSquare, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience with administration and implementation of analytics products
  • Familiarity with experiential analytics tools such as Contentsquare, Clicktale or comparative tools
  • Familiarity with concepts of digital marketing
  • Familiarity with pulling data from databases, using SQL or similar languages

Responsibilities

  • Actively partner to develop effective relationships with related groups in Ecommerce Category Management, Marketing, and IT to facilitate and manage efforts across teams to turn insights into action on the site.
  • Provide eCommerce category, marketing and digital product teams in-depth analysis of clickstream data that provides insights into key behaviors such as engagement task completion rates and more.
  • Present user behavior insights and findings for decision makers in Ecommerce, Marketing and IT Management.
  • Estimate financial and/or customer experience impact of site changes or features based on visitor behavior data.
  • Recommend improvements to digital experiences based on quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • People Management including providing timely and clear work direction, in the moment coaching, setting clear effective goals & expectations, and fostering a learning environment
