Requirements

  • Master's or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any field), or closely related field, and 48 months of experience in the job offered or as a software developer, tester, engineer, software architect, analyst, or related.
  • In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's in the above-stated fields plus 96 months of progressively responsible experience in the above-stated occupations.
  • Additionally, all candidates must possess at least 36 months (3 years) of experience in at least one of the following areas: data storage, database management platforms, user interfaces (UI), data processing system workloads, or data security.
  • At least 24 months (2 years) of experience in any one of the following technologies: Java, web services, databases, or microservices.
  • A minimum of 12 months (1 year) of experience in managing the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor senior engineers and managers.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
  • Oversee a team of engineers and managers.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software projects.
  • Prepare and review operational reports and project progress reports.
  • Oversee multiple software projects simultaneously.
  • Oversee code reviews and enforce adherence, to define the best practices.
  • Oversee resolution of technical issues as they arise.
  • Define service level agreements for the applications within the projects and devise plans based on the business criticality.
  • Maintain documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain client relationships.
  • Driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
