About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Corporate Strategy is responsible for developing long-range and strategic plans for HCA by identifying strategic issues and/or opportunities that could affect future growth and profitability. In this role, the Sr. Manager will lead business strategy team members overseeing projects centered around new business opportunities, development of presentations for executive leaders, market surveillance, competitor benchmark, internal capability gap assessment, enterprise alignment, and other strategic initiatives that drive HCA’s key enterprise goals. This role will play a key role in coordinating the schedule, shaping the content, and facilitating executive‑level corporate meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Corporate/Business Strategy, Strategic Planning in Sales & Marketing, or Business Intelligence
  • Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience managing teams and large-scale projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Finance or related discipline
  • Advanced analytical skills involving large complex data sets
  • Deep understanding of market trends to drive business success
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills to successfully lead enterprise-wide projects
  • Proven ability to manage a team and simultaneously ensure the success of multiple enterprise-wide projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to successfully manage, train, develop and mentor direct reports
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to present to executives and global leaders
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work in a team environment and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Project Leadership:
  • Lead and effectively manage team members in high impact enterprise-wide strategic projects from infancy to product launch including market research, business case development, identification and vetting of business partner or vendor through RFP, and leadership over launch of new products and services).
  • Act as a liaison between executive leadership and operational teams presenting final recommendations to key executive internal and external stakeholders
  • Market Research and Trend Analysis Leadership:
  • Responsible for analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Deliver actionable insights, lead research initiatives, and partner with internal stakeholders to guide HCA business planning and continuous innovation.
  • Data and Financial Analysis:
  • Leverage data and analytics to guide the organization’s strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights that influence corporate direction and support strategic objectives.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Responsible for developing and refining the company’s long-term strategic vision in partnership with the executive team including annual planning activities (MBOD, KPIs, enterprise project roadmap), short- and long-term capability roadmap, compiling of data and agendas for executive level corporate meetings, and ownership of agenda and planning of biannual leadership getaway.
  • People Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members by providing direction, performance feedback, and support to ensure effective collaboration, professional growth, and achievement of organizational and personal goals.
