The Sr. Manager, Contract Lifecycle Management leads the implementation and governance of SSA Marine’s Ironclad initiative, a strategic project aimed at enhancing contract standardization, compliance, and performance across the organization. This role ensures that commercial agreements are aligned with SSA’s strategic objectives, risk management protocols, and operational capabilities. The position requires strong project management skills to drive execution, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement in contract lifecycle practices.

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Ironclad as SSA Marine’s centralized contract lifecycle management platform.
  • Develop and enforce governance frameworks to ensure consistency, compliance, and performance across all commercial agreements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, operations, and IT to align contract processes with business needs.
  • Monitor contract performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization and risk mitigation.
  • Support strategic initiatives by ensuring contracts reflect SSA’s commercial priorities and operational capabilities.
  • Provide training and change management support to drive adoption of Ironclad and standardized contract practices.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of contracts and ensure data integrity, accessibility, and reporting capabilities.
  • Assist in the analysis and renegotiation of legacy contracts to improve commercial outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and best practice sharing across SSA’s global portfolio.
  • Perform other duties or tasks as requested.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Maritime, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in contract lifecycle management, legal operations, or commercial project management.
  • Proven success in implementing contract management contract management systems (Ironclad or similar)
  • Strong project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution with clear milestones and stakeholder alignment.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed
  • Experience working in multicultural and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in logistics, maritime, or infrastructure sectors preferred.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency a plus
  • Familiarity with container terminal systems and logistics platforms preferred.
