About The Position

The Senior Manager, Contracts & Quality Assurance is responsible for overseeing complex customer contracts and ensuring agreements are accurate, compliant, and aligned with internal standards and regulations. This role safeguards revenue integrity and customer satisfaction by driving operational excellence across onboarding and billing processes. The Senior Manager will lead a team focused on contract interpretation, compliance, and quality assurance, while influencing stakeholders, negotiating solutions, and fostering collaboration with internal and external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in contract management, quality assurance, or related operational roles.
  • 3+ years in a management role with proven ability to influence and negotiate at multiple levels.
  • Strong understanding of contract law principles, billing systems, and ERP processes.
  • Influence & Impact: Ability to shape decisions and gain buy-in across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Negotiation Skills: Skilled in resolving complex issues and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Strategic Thinking: Anticipates challenges, identifies opportunities, and aligns initiatives with business objectives. Demonstrated ability toward data-driven decision-making including problem solving and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Contract Governance:
  • Define and lead governance frameworks to ensure contractual compliance and operational integrity across all customer agreements.
  • Influence senior stakeholders to align contract terms with business objectives and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Negotiate resolutions for complex contractual issues, balancing customer satisfaction with company standards.
  • Operational Excellence & Risk Management:
  • Establish and monitor controls that prevent revenue leakage and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to improve onboarding and billing accuracy, leveraging automation and technology for scalability.
  • Provide executive-level insights on risk trends and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Leadership & Team Development:
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, setting clear objectives and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop talent through coaching and mentorship, ensuring readiness for future leadership roles.
  • Cross-Functional Influence:
  • Serve as a key liaison between Sales, Finance, Order Management, and IT to ensure seamless translation of contractual obligations into operational workflows.
  • Influence cross-functional priorities and drive alignment on compliance and quality standards.
  • Represent the function in senior-level discussions to advocate for process improvements and customer experience enhancements.
  • Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:
  • Define and enforce quality standards for contract-driven processes, ensuring consistency and reliability.
  • Lead strategic reviews of onboarding and billing workflows to identify gaps and implement best practices.
  • Champion automation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Performance Measurement:
  • Own KPIs such as contract compliance rate, onboarding accuracy, billing error frequency, and dispute resolution timelines.
  • Deliver executive reporting on operational performance and strategic improvement initiatives.
