About The Position

The Senior Manager, Channel Marketing – Retail will own the development and execution of shopper and retail activation strategies that drive demand for Del Real Foods’ branded and unbranded meal solutions in conventional grocery and regional retail accounts. This role is responsible for translating channel strategy into high-impact programs that drive distribution, velocity, and trial, while building brand presence at shelf and across retailer digital platforms. The Manager will be a hands-on operator, partnering closely with Sales, Brand, and external agencies to deliver Sales Overnight + Brand Overnight results.

  • 4–7 years of CPG experience in shopper marketing, channel marketing, or brand activation.

Responsibilities

  • Execute channel marketing strategy for conventional grocery and regional retail.
  • Lead planning and execution of in-store programs: displays, POS, secondary placements, demos, and sampling.
  • Support retail-specific new item launches and line reviews.
  • Develop shopper programs that drive trial, repeat, and basket growth.
  • Build customer-ready selling materials and activation toolkits.
  • Partner with Sales to identify whitespace and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure strong brand blocking, visual standards, and message clarity at shelf.
  • Adapt brand campaigns for retail environments while maintaining consistency.
  • Support digital shelf and retailer media activation in partnership with eCommerce/Brand.
  • Manage timelines, briefs, and execution with agencies and vendors.
  • Ensure flawless execution across markets and retailers.
  • Track program performance vs. KPIs (distribution, velocity, display compliance, ROI).
  • Provide post-promotion analysis and optimization recommendations.
