About The Position

Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Sr Manager, Business Enablement to provide strategic direction, transformation, and program management support to various initiatives and system design activities across the Americas region. This role will need strong change management and program management skills and work closely with all functions to include Digital Technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant technical experience in elevator industry
  • Experience working with project management
  • Demonstrated ability to create plans and execute results
  • Leadership experience required
  • Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
  • Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
  • Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
  • Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
  • Strong leadership skills, goal-orientated, and self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years elevator industry experience or experience leading technicians in a similar industry preferred
  • OT leadership role a plus

Responsibilities

  • Apply Program Management best practices to show progress and impact of Americas initiatives and projects
  • Monitor and manage interdependencies, raising risks and issues in time for resolution
  • Work closely with functions, OU, OA, and OT leaders to understand business requirements for systems the be the primary partner for DT global system governance
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute support for system definition, testing and implementation
  • Create reusable approaches and templates that can be leveraged for smaller efforts
  • Coach others on consistent approaches to program management and impact tracking
  • Communicate overall transformation status, progress and issues
  • Monitor and report initiatives performance and progress
  • Understand Change Management and infuse tactics into the initiatives by coaching initiative leaders
  • Work closely with communications and sometimes generate communications plans, messages, and cascaded tools
  • Have the ability to take vague needs of the business and turn them into actionable plans with measured impact
  • Manage by influence not direct reporting lines
