About The Position

The Senior Manager of Building Services and Custodial Support is responsible for the oversight and operational management of division-wide custodial services and minor maintenance/repairs for campuses and administrative facilities. This role ensures clean, safe, and functional environments conducive to learning and aligned with district standards and compliance requirements. This position is an essential worker position.

Responsibilities

Provides leadership and supervision to custodial and building services teams across the division.
Assists with the development, implementation, and monitoring of operational procedures and quality standards for custodial services and minor building repairs.
Supports and evaluates site-level building services managers and ensures adherence to district policies and service level expectations.
Assists with the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules for minor repair needs and ensure timely response to service requests.
Establishes and implements custodial service protocols, including cleaning schedules, staffing plans, and training programs.
Ensures that all facilities are cleaned and maintained to meet health, safety, and environmental standards.
Monitors custodial supply usage and assists the building services managers with inventory in alignment with budget and procurement policies.
Assists in developing and managing the annual budget for custodial operations and minor maintenance services.
Serves as liaison between the department of operations and school administrators regarding custodial and minor repair issues.
Performs other comparable duties of a like or similar nature as assigned.
