This position is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of the Maintenance Training Program. Key responsibilities include preparing and organizing training materials, manuals, and systems, as well as delivering instruction in areas such as mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, refrigeration, and other maintenance-related topics. The role also maintains training aids, student records, and class schedules; conducts orientation for new maintenance team members; collaborates with vendors on training content and delivery; coordinates and leads safety training initiatives within the maintenance department; and administers and evaluates hands-on training requirements for maintenance personnel. Additional responsibilities include verifying lockout/tagout procedures, managing specific training books, fit testing, hazmat training, and other duties as assigned by management. All Tyson Team Members are responsible for upholding both personal safety and food safety standards. This position requires flexibility to work varying hours, including 6 or 7 days per week as needed.
