About The Position

The Senior Maintenance Mechanic is focused on safely perform maintenance and repair on plant production equipment and a variety of building facilities equipment. Ability to work with production to ensure timely repair of equipment is essential. and reports to the Maintenance Manager. This role is perfect for an individual who possesses a blend of technical expertise, leadership ability and problem-solving skills. A vital member of the Maintenance department this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in equipment and facilities maintenance in a manufacturing environment
• Able to exercise independent judgment and make logical decisions
• Able to respond to emergency situations and urgent needs after regular business hours
• Requires electrical experience
• Must be able to operate power industrial trucks
• Able to work in 50+ heights

Responsibilities

• Test, diagnose, disassemble and reassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make necessary adjustments
• Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, and equipment
• Study blueprints or manufactures’ manuals to determine correct installation or operation
• Fabricating and welding as necessary to repair parts and equipment
• Record parts and/or materials used to order new parts or materials as necessary
