This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of experts, you will set up, develop, and operate complex machining processes for Turbo Machine components supporting assembly of flight hardware for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of transforming the way rockets are made and operated. You will work closely with area leadership and Engineering to implement, document, refine, and standardize new manufacturing processes and continually look for ways to improve the process, quality of hardware, and the area you work in. This will be accomplished by direct hands-on experience with the development and production of impellers and other Turbo Machine components utilizing multi-axis machining, turning, and/or grinding centers. You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Transportation system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth.
