About The Position

SAIC is hiring for a Sr System Administrator who specializes in Mac Systems to manage and support our Mac-based enterprise IT environment. The role involves daily system configuration, technical support and general trouble shooting for applications on Mac operations, and optimization to ensure efficient resource utilization and system reliability. This role is based in D.C. and is 100% onsite. Manage and maintain the JAMF Pro environment for enterprise Mac management, ensuring compliance and security. Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain a DOE L or Q level clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Bachelors and 5+ years or Masters and 3+ years experience is required. 12+ years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of education.
  • Must have 10+ years relevant experience in Mac Systems administration.
  • Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen.
  • Knowledge of and technical expertise supporting Apple products.
  • Knowledge of basic scripting language such as Bash or Python.
  • Knowledge of Mac OS desktop operating systems.
  • Skill in working in collaborative team-based environments and using good inter-personal skills.
  • Experience using ticketing systems such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
  • Experience documenting processes for use by all tiers of IT.
  • Experience configuring and supporting security, including encryption, at all levels including the use of MDM.
  • Experience with Office365.

Nice To Haves

  • JAMF Pro Administration a plus.
  • Manage and maintain the JAMF Pro environment for enterprise Mac management, ensuring compliance and security.
  • Automation via JAMF Pro and Bash scripting.

Responsibilities

  • Provides Tier 3- level support.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain custom scripts, policies, and configuration profiles using JAMF Pro.
  • Concentrating on system development, integration, image creation/deployment, and device policies.
  • Including LDAP and Active Directory Integration.
  • Maintaining service packs & service packs for enterprise applications, including QC, testing, and verification on all supported Mac clients.
  • Deploying vendor-specific applications, security tools and patches, proprietary.
  • Assist in package creation and delivery for all approved Apple software deployments using JAMF Pro.
