Summary of the Position: The Sr Loan Servicing and Quality Assurance Specialist integrates in-depth specialty loan knowledge with the research and resolution of complex inquiries and client issues. In addition, this role provides support to Loan Operations leadership in the functions of process improvement, performance management, and the execution of strategic initiatives. Primary Functions of the Position: Day-to-day focus on resolution of complex loan issues where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines, or processes Deals with loan-related problems and the resolution of complex loan issues independently Supports leadership with projects, implementations, and strategic initiatives Demonstrates understanding of the loan operations processes to identify policy gaps and formulate policies to support the streamlining of related work processes Minimizes risk to the bank through a solid understanding of procedural requirements, provides solutions to reduce errors, and to adhere to audit and control policies Integrates a solid understanding of industry and business standards and practices Applies professional judgment, analytical thinking Interacts with internal and external stakeholders for issue resolution and problem solving
