About The Position

The full-time position of Sr. Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for day-to-day duties within the Loan Operations Department and supports the Lending staff in other banking locations.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, book and fund commercial and consumer loans, ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, and compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Generate, verify, and maintain loan documentation; complete post-closing reviews; and ensure accurate loan, credit, and collateral records.
• Manage real estate closings, construction draws, escrow disbursements, and ongoing loan maintenance, including non-accruals and charge-offs as approved.
• Research and resolve complex loan issues, produce required reports, and provide support to internal teams and customers.
• Lead complex SBA loan closings from approval through funding, ensuring compliance with SBA programs, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with borrowers, attorneys, and internal partners; clear exceptions; and provide guidance and support to junior staff.
