The Sr. Learning & Development Program Manager is responsible for assessing and identifying company-wide developmental needs, primarily at the supervisory/manager level, and leading the effective development, coordination and presentation of training and development programs for our team members. This person will actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance. Additionally, they will be responsible for consistency in process development and identifying metrics for which we can measure the efficacy of training programs.

  • Design, implement and manage multiple training and development programs, working closely with senior stakeholders across the organization to assess training needs.
  • Identify company-wide developmental needs, primarily at the supervisory/manager level and ensure these are consistent with core competencies and position goals.
  • Develop effective training programs/materials utilizing a variety of media including social, virtual platforms, blended learning, and Thrive platforms.
  • Modify these programs as needed.
  • Lead the L&D team on the delivery and design of Greenhouse for the ILT and VILT versions.
  • Compile statistics, evaluate quality data, form conclusions, and present recommendations to management in the various areas needing training services.
  • Conduct evaluations and analyze metrics for programs; provide reports and recommendations on project metrics.
  • Research and make recommendations for content management of our Learning Management System (LMS) specific to the business partners assigned.
  • Mentor and manage training for new leaders.
  • Ensure that compliance and statutory training requirements are met and maintained.
  • Develop and monitor train the trainer programs and coach others involved in training efforts.
  • Assist other HR professionals with training needs specific to their specialty area, as needed.
  • Develop team project timelines, processes, and program structures.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Proven track record of relevant and progressive experience in Leadership Development and/or Human Resources; within the sales industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, complex competing needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Established ability to foster mentoring relationships, execute, and to drive continuous results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; Strong integrity and personal drive.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize many tasks and handle high workloads as necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions quickly and effectively; self-motivated.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web-browsers.
  • Experience with a variety of development platforms, including Articulate 360.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred.
