Job Title Sr. Java Developer - Full Stack What does a Sr. Java Developer - Full Stack do at Fiserv? We are looking for a Sr. Java Developer to work on frontend as well as backend applications for ACH payments processing. We are looking for a great team player with strong understanding of technology and having good communications. What you will do: Participate in architectural discussions, proposing solutions that are scalable, resilient, and maintainable. Design and implement robust data models, considering data integrity and security. Apply design patterns like Event Sourcing, and Microservices to solve complex problems. Design and develop robust RESTful APIs using Spring Boot framework, incorporating best practices like dependency injection, AOP, and reactive programming. Integrate with various data sources (relational databases, NoSQL databases) using Spring Data JPA and other persistence mechanisms. Develop robust data processing pipelines using Spring Batch or similar frameworks. Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using industry standard frameworks and approaches. Package applications into Docker containers for deployment on Kubernetes Service like AKS, PKS etc. Manage Kubernetes deployments, scaling, and monitoring using Kubernetes controllers and Helm charts. Leverage Azure services like Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, and Azure Event Hubs as needed.

  • 10-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, with a deep understanding of core Java concepts and design patterns.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring data, and Spring Security.
  • Familiarity with at least one popular JavaScript framework (React, node) and proficiency in HTML, CSS.
  • Expertise in Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
  • Understanding of Payments domain
  • Knowledge of Azure platform, including AKS, Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, and other relevant services.
  • Experience with messaging systems like Apache Kafka.
  • Familiarity and ability to work on frontend development.
  • Knowledge of distributed caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached).
  • Understanding of security best practices for cloud-based applications.
