Sr. Java Full Stack Developer (Onsite)
About The Position
As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-native applications that power critical business functions. You will be a valued member of the Engineering & Cloud Solutions team and work collaboratively with architects, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions. In this role, you will: · Development of full-stack applications using Java, Python, and modern cloud technologies on AWS. · Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation. · Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and secure deployments. · Integrate secure authentication protocols such as SAML and JWT. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and technical standards. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Wilmington, DE or New York, NY. Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on cloud-native applications.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure provisioning.
- Proficiency in Java and Python for backend development.
- Experience with Git, unit testing, and CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with SAML, JWT, and secure authentication practices.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration on AWS.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based databases like Amazon RDS and DynamoDB.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
