About The Position

Ultium Cells LLC is seeking a candidate with experience in IT infrastructure implementation and operations, IT investment planning and budget management support, tangible and intangible asset management, cross-functional collaboration with infrastructure-related organizations, and infrastructure issue resolution. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of IT infrastructure—including data centers, servers, and networks—based on enterprise security policies. The role also supports continuous improvement of the infrastructure environment to ensure stable service delivery and enhance overall IT service levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in the IT field
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse team members
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience working across cross-functional teams to resolve issues
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours when needed to support the team
  • Ability to participate in remote meetings with LG Energy Solution teams as required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience preparing reports and delivering verbal communication using Microsoft Office tools

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a network engineer, server administrator, or client management role is preferred
  • Proficiency in both English and Korean, including speaking and writing, is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage and maintain the IT infrastructure at the manufacturing site, including the data center, servers, and network systems.
  • Ensure stable operation of core production systems such as MES through server and network monitoring.
  • Collaborate with HQ and the Information Security team to address incidents and improve operational quality.
  • Execute IT infrastructure deployment and improvement projects in response to manufacturing environment changes (e.g., line expansions, new equipment installation).
  • Design, implement, and optimize network, server, and client infrastructures.
  • Communicate with corporate IT to stay aligned with company-wide IT policies and strategic direction.
  • Participate in global IT infrastructure meetings to share key issues and operational status.
  • Apply corporate IT standards as guidance to establish local IT operational practices.
  • Support the operation of corporate common IT services such as portal, groupware, and domain systems.
  • Operate the IT helpdesk and provide end-user support.
  • Manage IT assets (hardware & software) and track IT expenditures.
