A vital team member with responsibility for international tax matters, including tax return preparation, audits, and assessments primarily relating to Daimler Truck’s Canadian financial services and treasury entities. This position also assists in the US international reporting and compliance needs of the larger Daimler Truck Group (FDDEI, NCTI, BEAT, FTC, 1042, 5471, 5472). Canadian responsibilities include Canadian income tax and indirect tax compliance (GST/HST, PST, and QST). Prior Canadian tax experience is preferred but not required. The position also plays a key role in timely responding to tax questions from customer service and technology solution groups. Additional responsibilities include providing support for related audits and implementing tax savings opportunities where applicable.
