The Senior Instructional Designer of Leadership Training is responsible for the content design, creation and maintenance of Gulfstream's leadership development training on a global scale. Conducts formal needs assessments to ensure that the design, development and revision of the training curriculum achieves business objectives and improves employee performance.

  • Support and partner with Leadership Experience team to ensure effectiveness of programs and training, based on the identified goals.
  • Lead the design of curricula that prioritize meaningful one-on-one connections, individual development, and building high performance teams.
  • Create training resources that elevate the overall leadership experience for all levels of people leaders.
  • Maintain and update content within the leadership development portal.
  • Utilize operations-focused project management strategies that are consistent with instructional design best practices.
  • Utilize and monitor metrics that will ensure learning effectiveness of leadership programs.
  • Utilize strategic workforce planning to plan/change/update content for all programs.
  • Support the collection of benchmarking and research insights for leadership.
  • Implement instructional design best practices when formulating learning strategies to identify, design and develop innovative, interactive formal and informal learning solutions.
  • Provide guidance on design standards for training materials.
  • Remain current on all trends in leadership training development and aviation industry trends.
  • Leverage resources throughout the enterprise to effectively deliver leadership development programs at all Gulfstream locations.
  • Work with other members of the training department to design training programs that are in alignment with adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Organizational Development or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • 4 years of progressive responsibility related to HR experience.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Other HRCI certifications preferred.
  • Experience related to development of training on soft skills preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Design software (Articulate, Vyond, InDesign) and Project Management software.
  • Consulting and project management skills, familiarity with a wide variety of training media and a strong foundation in leadership development and adult learning.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management System administration.
