Role Responsibilities Develop and maintain enterprise-level infrastructure architecture blueprints for on premises datacenters, networks, and cloud environments. Define technical vision and strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring availability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency. Design and implement robust, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions across hybrid environments (including data center + cloud). Oversee network architecture (including routing, switching, security protocols including MPLS, BGP, and OSPF) and ensure seamless integration with compute and storage systems. Architect solutions leveraging AWS, including migration strategies and hybrid cloud models. Implement virtualization technologies (including VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix) and automation/orchestration frameworks for infrastructure provisioning. Automate server builds, patching, and application deployments across on-premises and cloud environments using tools including Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI & Scripting: Python, Bash, and PowerShell. Implement automated monitoring solutions for performance, availability, and compliance. Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery for critical systems. Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements (including ITIL and CISSP). Act as final escalation point for infrastructure-related issues. Collaborate with network engineers, system admins, and cloud teams to align technology decisions. Mentor junior architects and lead cross-functional teams during large-scale deployments. Research emerging technologies (including SDN, SDDC, and container orchestration) and recommend adoption strategies. Drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual interventions. Telecommuting is permitted 2 days per week. Role Requirements Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Computer Applications, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, plus 7 years of professional experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or any occupation, job title, position maintaining databases including patching, risk assessment, and lifecycle management. Must also have experience in the following: 6 years of professional experience utilizing networking, storage, Windows, Citrix, Linux, Backup, virtualization, and cloud platforms; 6 years of professional experience utilizing Security Systems, SQL, Oracle, DB2, Couchbase, Cassandra DB, Postgres SQL Datapower, Apache, and WebSphere; 5 years of professional experience automating server builds, patching, and application deployments across on-premises and cloud environments; 5 years of professional experience utilizing tools including Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Dynatrac, HP Site Scope, Tanium, ServiceNow, Qualys, BigPanda, Box, Cherwell ITIS, xMatters, Privx, CyberArk, Splunk, Dynatrace GRAIL, Venafi, F5, Veritas, VMware Vcenter, and Bluecat DNS; and 5 years of professional experience scripting with Python, Bash, and PowerShell. Salary The on-target earnings range is $164,112 - $183,000 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
