About The Position

The Senior Indirect Tax Analyst is responsible for managing the preparation and review of direct and indirect tax filings, ensure accurate tax accounting and reporting, perform technical tax research, and contribute to strategic tax initiatives across U.S. and international jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical tax expertise, sound professional judgment, and the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; a master’s in taxation
  • 5 or more years of corporate tax experience, preferably in a large multinational corporation or public accounting firm with a focus on global tax matters
  • Strong understanding of U.S. federal, state, local tax laws and regulations
  • Experience with process automation and global tax technology solutions
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a cross-functional global team
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse cross-functional teams and external global partners
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive tax information
  • Strong understanding of U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax laws and regulations
  • Experience with tax provisions under ASC 740 and strong knowledge of GAAP principles
  • Proficiency in global tax preparation software and advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to conduct tax research using tools
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple global tax tasks and deadlines
  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
  • ITAR requirement
  • 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage direct and indirect tax filings, ensuring accurate and timely preparation and submission
  • Maintain schedules related to deferred tax assets, intangible assets, tax payments, and tax notices
  • Perform month-end review and reconciliation of tax accounts to ensure accurate tax reporting and proper financial statement presentation
  • Maintain and manage the U.S. tax filing calendar to ensure timely submissions across jurisdictions
  • Support tax audits and regulatory inquiries, including working with local tax authorities and external advisors
  • Review indirect tax filings across multiple jurisdictions including United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and others
  • Respond to indirect tax questions from customers and vendors as they arise
  • Assist with other tax initiatives and support strategic tax optimization projects
  • Promote tax awareness across the organization by providing training and guidance to internal stakeholders and collaborating with external tax advisors
  • Stay current on tax legislation, regulatory changes, and industry trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned
