About The Position

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Promotes an environment of transparency and respect, providing a project management foundation for high-performing teams in operations where individuals can realize their full potential. • Facilitates cross-functional interactions between their project teams (i.e., Scrum, Kanban and Waterfall) ensuring that cross-team dependencies are managed appropriately. • Works to increase team efficiency by encouraging out-of-the-box thinking and consistent improvement while staying focused on quality and timeliness. • Ensures operations team is fully aware of all relevant information needed to be productive. • Tracks and removes impediments impacting the operations team and safeguards the team from outside distractions and interferences. • Schedules and facilitates project meetings as needed (Project status reporting, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Up, Sprint Retrospective, etc.). • Provides regular support to operations teams across the global teams, IB leadership and company staff. Senior Project Manager • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, aligning them with organizational goals and strategies. • Effectively allocate resources, including personnel, budgets, and equipment, to ensure project success. • Identify potential risks and proactively develop strategies to mitigate them. • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering unity and direction toward project goals. • Delegate tasks appropriately, leveraging team strengths for optimized project execution. • Foster transparent communication among team members, stakeholders, and senior management. • Offer expert advice on technical aspects, ensuring adherence to industry best practices. • Facilitate innovative solutions to technical challenges using expertise and inventive approaches. • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and technical specifications. • Engage with stakeholders to align project outcomes with their needs and expectations. • Cultivate robust relationships with stakeholders, fostering trust throughout the project life cycle. • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports and technical specifications. • Present regular project updates and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders. • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance process efficiency. • Encourage team innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies for better project outcomes. • Ensure project compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies. • Uphold governance frameworks to align projects with organizational objectives. • Facilitate cross-functional interactions among project teams (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) to manage cross-team dependencies effectively. • Enhance team efficiency through innovative thinking while maintaining a focus on quality and timeliness. • Ensure operations teams have essential information for productivity. • Track and eliminate impediments effecting the operations team, shielding them from distractions. • Schedule and lead project meetings as necessary (e.g., status reporting, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Up, Sprint Retrospective). • Provide consistent support to global operations teams, IB leadership, and company staff. • Effectively manage projects using the 5 steps of project management - Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & controlling, Closure. • Supervise the team's daily work, ensuring optimal project handling, providing regular feedback from performance reviews, and motivating with timely rewards and recognition. • Team subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with groups at all levels of management.
  • Able to lead from a position of influence, acting as a voice for their project teams.
  • Able to negotiate with others when under pressure, arriving at a mutually beneficial outcome with ease and composure.
  • Able to resolve conflicts while remaining calm in the face of opposition or tense situations.

  • Able to analyze problematic scenarios and propose feasible solutions.
  • Experience with project management and agile tools (i.e., Project Online, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Maintains the highest standards of ethical conduct, honesty and integrity.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related degree preferred.
  • 6+ years Waterfall/Agile experience required.
  • Internal candidates: o Experience can be a combination of internal and external experience. o Minimum Highly Effective performance in current role.
  • Proficient in Project Management Methodology (PMI), adept at documenting necessary. information for project plans, and skilled in creating SOPs and Governance Plans for transitioning projects to BAU (Business as Usual).
  • Should possess experience in overseeing complete IT infrastructure projects from start to finish.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written Business English skills and the ability to write clear and concise text for different audiences.
  • A flexible approach to adapt to changing deadlines.
  • Skilled in executing agile approaches like Scrum.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with tact and sensitivity.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ITSM, ITIL, or other relevant frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience of automating reports (as far as data sources/tools will allow).
  • PMP, TQM or Six Sigma certifications preferred.
