About The Position

At PetSmart, our Human Capital Solutions team plays a pivotal role in shaping enterprise-wide talent strategies through data-driven insights. We're seeking a Senior Human Capital Analyst who brings deep analytical expertise, business acumen, and a passion for influencing organizational outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, finance, mathematics, statistics, HR, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in HR or a business strategy context.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint; experience with query tools and coding (e.g., SQL, Python, R) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences.
• A strategic mindset with a passion for using data to drive organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced analytics initiatives that support strategic HR programs and enterprise goals.
• Translate complex data into compelling narratives that influence senior leadership decisions.
• Deliver insights from employee listening surveys and provide recommendations that shape engagement strategies.
• Deliver human resource data analytics and insights that supports talent processes and outcomes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders on workforce trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure data integrity across internal and external sources, enabling confident decision-making.
• Continuously evolve reporting tools and dashboards to meet the needs of a dynamic organization.
