About The Position
As a Honeywell Aerospace Senior Health, Safety, Environmental Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Deer Valley site’s HSE management system. Your contributions will ensure compliance with the hazardous waste, air quality and water quality programs, support HSE and sustainability initiatives and enhance the site safety culture. You will report directly to our Sr HSE Manager and work 100% on‑site at our Deer Valley facility in Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities
- Implement the Honeywell Health, Safety, Environmental Management System
- Manage the environmental compliance programs for the site
- Provide technical assistance regarding health, safety, environmental compliance requirements
- Develop and administer training and communications to site personnel regarding HSE topics
- Perform site aspect and impact maturity assessments of the HSE management system
- Measure key HSE indicators and implement plans to address gaps
- Drive waste diversion projects to reduce waste sent to landfill
- Support facilities construction projects and maintenance activities
