About The Position

KASCO is seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist with a primary focus on recruitment. Our ideal candidate is a champion of the KASCO culture and displays their enthusiasm with every potential candidate, hiring manager, existing employee, leadership team, fellow HR colleague, and beyond. This position is located onsite in St. Louis, Missouri (Monday through Thursday); option to work remotely on Fridays. This position reports to the Senior Director, Human Resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (HR or Business preferred) or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of HR experience required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Creative approach to problem solving
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding at all position levels

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification preferred
  • Exposure to benefits, payroll, training, and employee relations -- a plus

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage entire recruitment process, including posting jobs, meeting with hiring managers, reviewing resumes, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Dig deep into open positions to understand the ideal candidate for the job
  • Form connections with hiring managers to understand what good looks like
  • Find creative ways to recruit labor throughout the US
  • Maintain HR systems to ensure records are accurate and up to date
  • Support HR Leader with monthly reporting to track headcount, turnover, open positions, time to fill, etc
  • Understand turnover; then propose solutions to overcome it
  • Utilize current HR software to take advantage of all features and customize as needed
  • Participate in talent management initiatives, such as succession planning, talent reviews, annual performance process, and employee engagement
  • Collaborate with Senior HR Director and KASCO’s Leadership Team to develop strategies that support business goals and enhance employee engagement
