About The Position

Forest View Hospital, located just seven miles southeast of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a private 108 bed psychiatric facility that serves children, adolescents and adults. We are licensed by the State of Michigan, fully accredited by The Joint Commission and we bring more than 45 years of experience to the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health problems. As a part of our continued success and growth, we are seeking qualified applicants for a Senior HR Generalist. The Sr. Human Resources Generalist provides advanced, professional-level support to the HR Director in alignment with facility and department goals and objectives. While the HR Director offers strategic direction, this role operates with a high degree of independence, managing multiple key HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, retention initiatives, and performance management. The Sr. HR Generalist also plays a critical role in ensuring departmental compliance with facility policies as well as legal and regulatory requirements. Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years HR Generalist experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Healthcare or Behavioral Health is preferred
  • PHR, SPHR, or SHRM/other HR related certification is preferred
