About The Position

The Sr Group Operations Mgr is responsible for overseeing multiple departments in a high-volume operation. This role manages workforce performance, supports training and process consistency, and addresses performance needs as appropriate. Ensuring productivity and meeting service expectations are key aspects of the position.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of management experience (preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced production, manufacturing, distribution, warehousing or service environment) including experience working with P&L/budgets.
  • Proven operations experience within a high volume and fast paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and ability to motivate and development employees.
  • Consistent application of standards to self and team.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability.
  • Strong project management ability.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management including excellent customer interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing all operations within the defined group of departments.
  • Deliver KPI’s and report on KPI’s for defined departments.
  • Builds operations teams, including developing/selecting leaders and motivates all personnel in direct line reporting organization.
  • Collaborates with peers to ensure all branch operations are covered and properly supported
  • Coach and council employees on performance deficiencies and document as required.
  • Accountable for the financial performance of all operations within the defined group of departments, including participation in the daily P&L call with corporate management.
  • Manage reports, statistical analysis, and daily P&L reporting.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures and SOP of operations staff.
  • Ensure that quality standards are consistently met.
  • Ensures supervisors and managers complete employee attendance records and monitor for adherence to policy. Prepare corrective actions when necessary.
  • Proactively communicates with various levels of CTDI Corporate management and customers to ensure that customer expectations are met and issues are resolved to include all service level commitments.
  • Provide input of ideas for continual process improvements as well as implementation of new processes.
  • Collaborate with Program Management team to ensure compliance to all customer defines workflows, ensuring changes are formally documented and accounted for in UPPH before implementation.
  • Ensure all team members are trained and validated to perform expected tasks and training documentation has been completed and submitted.
  • Monitors all expenses and on time delivery performance.
  • Support and ensure compliance with CTDI safety programs and initiatives as well as all applicable OSHA and state workplace safety laws.
  • Ensure compliance with all building security requirements set forth by CTDI and its customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
