About The Position

MarketStar is seeking a Sr. Function Lead to provide elevated leadership for our X partnership. In this senior-level role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and sales enablement teams while serving as a primary driver of profitable growth and long-term revenue strategy. X is a powerhouse in the real-time social media and advertising space, and you will lead the efforts to scale their SMB business to new heights. You will play a critical part in aligning MarketStar’s execution with X’s overarching business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; an advanced degree or equivalent executive-level experience is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of managing other leaders or high-scale programs.
  • Advanced knowledge of P&L management, sales finance, and organizational development procedures.
  • Exceptional ability to navigate complex business challenges and lead large teams through strategic transitions.
  • Expert communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executive-level audiences.
  • A high degree of adaptability and a history of driving success within high-growth, high-velocity tech environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level mentorship and strategic direction to the leadership team to ensure peak program productivity.
  • Deliver comprehensive executive-level business reviews and performance reporting to MarketStar and X stakeholders.
  • Architect and implement long-term strategies to protect existing business while identifying new avenues for revenue expansion.
  • Oversee the consistent achievement of complex sales targets across weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
  • Analyze macro market trends and competitive landscapes to optimize program strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Direct the high-level administration of MarketStar policies, ensuring organizational alignment and operational excellence.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com and advanced business intelligence tools to drive data-backed decisions and optimize team performance.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in cross-functional initiatives and take on advanced leadership responsibilities as required.
