Requirements

  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred; relevant experience may be substituted.
  • Certification meeting DoD 8140, aligned to 621 Software Developer role (Security+, SSCP, CSSLP, or CISSP).
  • Certification meeting AZ-204 or AWS Developer Associate.
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience building and supporting enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, testing, and maintaining object-oriented software applications, with primary proficiency in C#.
  • Hands-on experience developing applications hosted on Windows and Apache web services environments.
  • Operational experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, Quartz, AngularJS, React, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL.
  • Proven ability to write clean, secure, and maintainable code and mentor other developers on secure coding practices.
  • Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical operational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Work as part of a collaborative, high-performing team delivering technical solutions for mission-critical federal government systems
  • Support O&M and design, develop, and modernize custom enterprise applications
  • Apply secure coding practices across all phases of development
  • Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retros, etc.)
  • Support and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Communicate technical decisions and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence through technical expertise and professionalism
  • Use creativity and innovation to deliver solutions that meet customer and mission needs
