About The Position
Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Engineer to join a leader in the financial industry. The Sr. Full Stack Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining and modernizing legacy systems built in Java while supporting the transition to newer technologies.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering
- Strong proficiency in Java, including legacy versions
- Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
- Expertise in designing and consuming REST APIs
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance legacy Java applications critical to business operations
- Collaborate with architecture and development teams to support modernization efforts
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to integrate legacy systems with modern platforms
- Optimize SQL queries and database interactions for performance and reliability
Benefits
