The Senior Fleet Data & Operations Analyst serves as a trusted analytical and operational partner to fleet leadership, supporting fleet operations, financial performance, and asset management. This role goes beyond standard reporting — the ideal candidate has a highly curious, investigative mindset, is comfortable challenging assumptions, and is driven to uncover root causes and translate data into real-world operational improvements. This individual will work closely with fleet leadership to create, produce, and analyze financial datasets, improve visibility into fleet performance and cost management, and support strategic decision-making across the fleet lifecycle. Success in this role means anticipating issues before they escalate, owning the quality of your work, and serving as a collaborative partner who makes the systems and processes around you better. This role will report to the Fleet Operations & Equipment Leasing Sr. Leader.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • 7-8 years of progressive experience in data analytics, operational reporting, fleet operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently investigate financial or operational data, identify root causes, and communicate findings to leadership.
  • Advanced Excel skills include complex models and analytical frameworks.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data to operational context.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and follow through on directed initiatives.
  • Experience in fleet operations, transportation, leasing, or equipment management.
  • Strong attention to detail, data analytical skills, visualization tools, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with vendor invoices or operational cost analytics.
  • Background in process improvement or operational support roles.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Creates, produces, and analyzes financial datasets and reports that goes beyond surface-level summaries to support meaningful problem-solving and operational improvements.
  • Maintains and updates reporting frameworks and dashboards that improve day-to-day visibility into fleet performance, utilization, and cost.
  • Surface patterns, anomalies, and data discrepancies within operational datasets and dig into the details to identify root causes and escalate findings to leadership with contest and clarity.
  • Translates complex data into clear, accessible formats that enable leadership to make faster, more confident decisions.
  • Uploads, processes, and manages fleet-related invoices and billing documentation accurately and on time.
  • Supports finance in analyzing total cost of ownership, lease vs. ownership data, and fleet investment reporting.
  • Proactively flag and document variances or trends in spend data, providing leadership with context on potential root causes.
  • Identifies and reports data quality gaps in fleet systems (e.g. Samsara) and follows through with a strong sense of ownership to support resolution and prevent recurrence.
  • Implements reporting improvements or automation solutions and make processes more accurate and efficient over time.
  • Supports fleet compliance initiatives, including adherence to internal policies, safety standards, and regularity requirements, with a focus on improving underlying data accuracy.
  • Approves invoices and review claims and maintenance spend trends, documenting findings and surfacing opportunities to reduce cost exposure for leadership review.
  • Ensures individual personal adherence to TireHub policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Participates and maintains ongoing training requirements through in-person, virtual or computer-based learning modules as assigned.
  • Completes other tasks assigned by their supervisor or another member of Leadership, as requested.
