The Senior Financial Analyst will work directly with the Asst Div Controller and Div Dir FP&A & Consolidation to analyze the results and work with the plant location to provide explanations of results to be presented to Division leadership. The Senior Financial Analyst will possess strong communication and project management skills with an ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects to meet aggressive deadlines. Other duties will include data extraction, report writing, process improvements, SOX and other duties as assigned. E SSENTIAL F UNCTIONS Coordinate internal reporting requirements across the division. Assist with the coordination of the month end close and quarterly reporting requirements. Assist with ad hoc analytical requirements as needed. Assist with budget/forecast development, analysis and consolidation. Develop and maintain processes for reporting daily and weekly financial and operational metrics in support of management team in accordance with corporate/division requirements and guidelines. Assist in the reporting and consolidation for monthly and quarterly financial results to Metals Group leadership and corporate/division as required, including ad hoc reporting request as required. Prepare quarterly operational and financial review packages for the Division/Corporate. Responsible for the review and reconciliation of the financial results for the Special Metals Division from local ledgers to various Oracle EPM systems. Complete special projects and participate in process improvement activities and related analysis. Analyze and report on Balance Sheet and Income Statement variances, identify root causes and provide executive summary to Division leadership. Observe and Report on one Dock Walk and Physical Inventory annually. Coordinates the SOX program for the entire Division. Leads ARC balance sheet reviews and SOX deep dives. ARC division functional lead alternate. Cross train cash reporting and related consolidation and analysis for daily, weekly and monthly as required. Explains accounting systems, policies and procedures and assists in the development and implementation of training programs. Gather requirements to design, build and implement standardized processes for weekly cash and inventory reporting, and other management reporting. Supports management in decision making on product costs for market analysis and disposition of scrap. Assist in testing business processes and user training, document system processes. Be able to meet strict deadlines. Cross train other members of division staff in all Accounting/EPM related duties. Assist with continuous improvement of division analysis and reporting. Travel to SMC plants 20%. Other responsibilities as assigned.
