About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key contributor to the finance organization as we support CPY and its mission to bring yoga to the world. This role is responsible for providing financial insights, analysis, and strategic support to drive business performance and decision-making. This role involves detailed financial reporting, advanced financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting and analysis to support business initiatives and leadership objectives. The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Manager of Operations Finance and partner closely with operations, accounting and executive leadership to provide insights into performance, drive profitability, and support strategic initiatives across multiple locations and business units.

Requirements

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year institution, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
5-7+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a multi-unit, consumer retail, hospitality, or franchise environment
Strong understanding of P&L management and operational finance
Ideal candidate will have experience with budgets, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial modeling as well as knowledge of accounting in accordance with US GAAP
Proven ability to communicate financial content and deduce actionable insights with all levels of the organization, including the executive team
Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools) preferred; specifically, NetSuite / NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, Hyperion SmartView, Tableau, Smartsheet
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with the highest standards of accuracy and precision
Highly driven and self-motivated with the ability to work and think independently
Proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders
Collaborative, team player with ability to work cross-functionally
Positive attitude and the willingness to learn and grow as a team

Responsibilities

Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning
Support strategic initiatives such as investments, cost optimization, and pricing strategies
Support financial planning and analysis for multiple business units, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, scenario and sensitivity analysis
Support month-end close by analyzing variances between actuals, budget, and forecast
Prepare budget and forecast materials for executive and board approval
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses
Develop and maintain unit-level P&L reporting, KPIs, and dashboards
Standardize reporting and processes across business units to improve consistency and scalability
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial systems and reports
Analyze financial performance across locations, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Partner with cross-functional teams to support business strategy and operational decisions
Conduct ad hoc analysis for senior leadership as needed
Other Responsibilities: Support company priorities with projects identified during annual road mapping
Compile data and prepare insights for presentations for corporate and regional teams
Document and maintain processes across the finance function
Build cross functional partnerships across the organization
Lead financial training with cross-functional business partners
Support a positive work environment within the finance organization
