About The Position

Position Summary: Responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments. Provides analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects. Prepares forecasts and analysis of trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions, and other related areas. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. May conduct special financial and business related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses. Make a greater impact at Bonduelle Americas! Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile balance sheet and Profit & Loss accounts.
  • Timely and accurate preparation of month end journal entries and miscellaneous accruals.
  • Timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements and various other management reports.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the customer incentive programs, including proper system setup, recording of liability, and preparation of request for payments while ensuring that all transactions are treated in accordance with GAAP.
  • Responsible for the automation of tracking customer incentive programs and brokers.
  • Prepare audit schedules and other year-end schedules.
  • Responsible for all accounting related functions including recording of transactions, analysis, and reporting corresponding to Ready Pac Growers, Ready Pac Montreal, and other partners.
  • Drives progressive efficiency improvements in the area of Financial Reporting and General Accounting.
  • Ensures implementation of proper controls.
  • Additional duties as directed by the Finance Manager – Corporate Accounting.
  • Works closely with Finance Manager – Corporate Accounting in developing tools to improve controls and better support management needs.
  • Exercise good technical judgment on accounting issues in accordance with GAAP.
  • Maintains positive and current relations with internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively to management and outside parties, such as auditors and taxing authorities, on general accounting and internal control matters.
