General Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as SME on financial reporting systems Serve as program administrator for Prophix and other financial reporting systems Ensure quality control of production from financial reporting systems Lead the creation of reports in financial reporting systems. Develop and maintain financial dashboards Maintain and enhance AHA’s long-range financial model Develop models to support analysis, forecasting, and reporting Support the preparation of AHA’s annual audit report including consolidated financial statements; and management discussion and analysis (MD&A) using financial systems Support preparation of AHA’s monthly and/or quarterly internal and external financial reports Develop documentation to support assigned systems and models including user manuals and guides Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): Ability to create financial models Ability to learn and use Prophix and other financial software Excellent analytical and organizational ability Knowledge of accounting concepts, practices and policies. Ability to manipulate data and use reporting system Excellent problem solving ability Excellent written and oral communication skills Good team player and ability to meet strict deadlines Demonstrated proficiency of current office technology and software application(s) and demonstrated use of such technology/applications on a regular basis including strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g. Excel and Word) Accuracy is required in performing all functions of this position Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree with a major in finance, business or accounting required. Master of Business Administration (MBA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or other equivalent designation preferred 5+ years’ experience in budgeting, analysis, financial modeling and reporting preferably within the real estate industry Experience in interfacing with business operational customers Working Conditions: Works in an office environment. May require frequent bending, stooping, reaching and prolonged sitting and/or standing, and viewing of the computer screen. May require regular lifting usually not exceeding 15 lbs.
