We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who can go beyond reporting to build scalable frameworks, uncover profitability drivers, and help leadership understand what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what to do next. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 4–7 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or forecasting within high-volume retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods
  • Expert-level Excel or Google Sheets skills for financial modeling and large dataset analysis
  • Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and familiarity with SQL
  • Strong understanding of: Gross margin, COGS, pricing, and profitability analysis Revenue reconciliation and variance analysis Vendor co-op marketing, rebates, and promotional discounting Amazon fee structures or e-commerce financial operations (preferred)
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
  • Proven success collaborating cross-functionally across Finance, Operations, IT, and Brand teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial analysis and forecasting across brands, product lines, and sales channels
  • Build scalable models to evaluate pricing, cost structures, and gross margin performance
  • Conduct variance and bridge analysis between operational sales data and financial results during month-end close
  • Analyze SKU-level trends and identify risks, opportunities, and profitability drivers
  • Manage tracking and reconciliation for vendor co-op marketing, rebates, discounts, and reimbursements
  • Evaluate the impact of Amazon fees, promotions, and pricing changes on margins
  • Develop recurring and ad hoc reporting for leadership to support data-driven decisions
  • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, and Operations to ensure accurate revenue recognition and financial integrity
  • Collaborate with Brand, Supply Chain, IT, and Operations to resolve discrepancies and data quality issues
  • Identify process gaps and recommend system or workflow improvements
  • Support development and maintenance of controls documentation to ensure audit readiness and compliance
