About The Position

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in San Jose. This role will play a key part in supporting the company's financial forecasting, analysis, and planning activities, partnering closely with business leaders across functions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in finance and data analysis, excels at transforming numbers into actionable insights, and communicates findings clearly and persuasively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Requirements

Knowledge of software, hardware, and service revenue recognition rules.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot, Power Query, VBA).
Excellent communication skills
Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or related field; 2+ years of work experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or business analytics.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Tableau, SQL, R, or Python is a plus.
MBA/CPA/ACCA/CFA is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop insightful scenario analysis and business commentaries to support executive decision-making.
Analyze key financial drivers such as bookings, ACV, revenue trends, and sales quota.
Design and maintain Excel-based models for scenario and sensitivity analysis, and contribute to process and reporting automation initiatives.
Work closely with a technical finance engineer on data integrity, modeling, and dashboard enhancement.
Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise, and business-oriented manner.
