Sr. Financial Analyst
About The Position
We are currently seeking an eager Senior Financial Analyst to join the Studios Finance team! As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will serve as a key driver of financial excellence and support strategic decision-making across the organization. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, planning, or accounting
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite required; experience in Oracle, Cognos, TM1, SAP, BW Report a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated team player with strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Entertainment industry experience highly preferred; experience in media, technology, or consulting a plus
Responsibilities
- Support the planning function for overhead and development, including monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans
- Analyze operating expenses and assist with variance explanations between actuals, budget, and forecasts
- Manage the master data for development term deals and projects in Oracle and offline Excel files
- Assist in 3rd-party billing, term deal charge-off, and participation charge-off
- Prepare development reserve reconciliations and related journal entries
- Perform various ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed
