About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst – SC FP&A plays a critical role in enabling the Supply Chain Finance team to drive operational and financial oversight, accountability, and performance management that enhance the overall financial health of the Supply Chain Organization. The role combines strong foundational FP&A skills—budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis—with the strategic use of automation, predictive analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital reporting tools to elevate financial insight and discipline across the supply chain. Using depth and breadth of experience, this role is expected to appropriately challenge business partners on critical decisions to ensure all options are considered and the best path is chosen. This role will help the business address problems and arrive at new solutions, while also functioning as a primary Finance partner ensuring financial compliance & risk management while enabling profitable growth and operational excellence. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5 or more years of successful experience in quantitative role (i.e. Finance, Accounting)
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with the ability to link operational drivers to financial outcomes
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable business insights for senior leadership and to support planning efforts for business leaders through proactive strategic thinking
  • Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of interpreting large datasets and presenting insights using tools like Power BI and Tableau
  • Understanding of generative AI applications in financial modeling, scenario planning, and business communications. Hands-on familiarity with large language model tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude) and their integration within financial systems or productivity platforms
  • High level of accuracy & attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills evidenced by demonstrated results in past positions
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders and positively influence

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with supply chain leaders to identify and evaluate current year projects, programs, and initiatives for financial opportunities. In addition, partnering with the other Finance Liaisons and Managers to understand how the broader business may impact the supply chain to evaluate and guide on where efforts should be focused.
  • Use AI-enabled data automation and analytics tools to streamline data consolidation, accelerate reporting, and highlight key financial themes, risks, and opportunities to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze supply chain department results (i.e., vs. Budget; vs. LY) , leveraging AI-driven data aggregation and analysis and in-year forecasts on a monthly basis. For supply chain, this includes department specific operational objectives such as the financial impacts of efficiency changes, material utilization, fixed/variable expense fluctuations, and production changes. Help synthesize resulting financial highlights, themes, risks & opportunities, etc. into monthly executive level presentations.
  • Consolidate, review, and analyze departmental financial results versus budget and forecast on a monthly basis. Partner with cost center managers to interpret trends, discuss forecast drivers, and strengthen financial acumen. Leverage AI-assisted analysis and data automation tools to identify key variances, improve forecasting accuracy, and streamline the reporting process.
  • Support annual planning, forecasting, and multi-year financial modeling efforts with enhanced data-driven insights.
  • Champion the use of AI and intelligent automation within financial planning, budgeting, and scenario modeling to enhance forecast accuracy, accelerate insights, enable more data-driven decision making, streamline reporting, and drive process efficiencies.
  • Post monthly journal entries including recurring entries, accruals, re-classes, and various other postings required on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.
  • Advise on contracts and agreements, which include but is not limited to, corresponding with legal, accounting and external vendors and determining appropriate GAAP treatments.
