About The Position

The Senior Analyst role focuses on product lifecycle management for specific product categories, serving as a key member of the New Product Development (NPD) cross-functional operations team. The analyst ensures successful planning and execution of new product launches and supports strategic business objectives across multiple functional areas. Responsibilities include managing supply chain policy related to product placement, lifecycle changes, master data management, and product discontinuation within complex, global supply chains. The role also involves providing analytics to support decision-making, risk mitigation, and business rationale within the product team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain or Engineering.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in Supply Chain, with a focus on product lifecycle, materials change management, or engineering change control.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and self-motivation to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Proficient project management skills, with effective written and oral communication within cross-functional teams.
  • Computer proficiency including Windows, Word, Excel, PowerBI and SAP.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate supply chain design and policy for assigned product categories, gathering expert-level knowledge to align with strategic business goals.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Sourcing leaders to develop product placement plans for components and finished goods, covering sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution planning across regional and global networks, aiming for optimal supply chain structure balancing speed, flexibility, and cost.
  • Analyze supply base capacity and timing with regional teams to establish optimal supply chain design and project timelines.
  • Facilitate plan alignment and action within teams, maintaining progress and customer delivery schedules.
  • Manage stock levels to minimize unnecessary scrapping due to component obsolescence from changes.
  • Establish and oversee lifecycle change policies, including phase-in/phase-out timing, master data maintenance, and disposal coordination to balance business needs.
  • Identify cost-to-serve options to optimize profitability and customer delivery, gaining business team alignment.
  • Analyze new material additions/releases for master data compliance.
  • Document processes, establish performance metrics, and identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • The salary range for this position is $85,800 - $128,700. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
